COVID-19

Since the COVID-19 outbreak many of the doctors' we normally work with have been shut down. We decided to see how we could help and provide jobs to people who needed them.

There are many unsafe and uncomfortable face shield being sold now that in the real world are not safe. Some become to hot to wear or they have a large gap between the forehead and the shield. Others fog forcing you to raise the shield up to clean it. Some are just so poorly made they fall apart within hours of being worn. Don't get something that doesn't work!

We guarantee our shields will be comfortable, safe, and durable!

The Soley Shield is made from the Highest quality optically clear, fog resistant PET-G plastic. Our multi-radius, full-face design is patent pending and maximizes protection, functionality and comfort while minimizing heat and fogging issues.

Many other companies use cheaper polycarbonate, which is less flexible and fogs more easily. Or use vinyl, which has poor optical quality, creates visual distortions, and has significant fogging.

Experts Say Face Shields are a Better Answer

HERE ARE A FEW OF THE BEST REASONS YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER TRADING IN YOUR MASK FOR A CLEAR SHIELD, ACCORDING TO DOCTORS.

Face shields are easily disinfected with household cleaners.  As well, for those who are deaf and/or hard of hearing, a clear face shield makes lip reading possible as the mouth remains uncovered. Not only are face shields comfortable to wear and breathe in, but they also prevent the wearer from touching their face.

WHY FACE SHIELDS MAY BE BETTER CORONAVIRUS PROTECTION THAN MASKS ALONE.

Dr. Robert Kim-Farley, an epidemiologist and infectious diseases expert at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, said face shields would be helpful for those who come in contact with lots of people every day.

EFFICACY OF FACE SHIELDS AGAINST COUGH AEROSOL DROPLETS FROM A COUGH SIMULATOR.

Face shields can substantially reduce the short-term exposure of health care workers to large infectious aerosol particles. Thus, face shields provide a useful adjunct to respiratory protection for workers caring for patients with respiratory infections

Our 100% U.S. made, contour-cut foam provides a full 1.5” spacing at the center, tapering to 1” at the temples. Its 1.5” height provides extra comfort and stability.

Our foam is also vented to reduce heat and fogging, making the shield more comfortable for long-term wear. While Our unique vent positions Ensure that you are protected against particulate and droplets getting to your face from above.

Many companies are only using a narrow ridge frame, plastic strip, or only ¾” thick foam. Which results in the shield either uncomfortable, unstable, or sitting too close to the face. Limiting any room for masks and glasses, and allowing heat buildup and fogging.

Elastic and Adjustability

3/4" knitted elastic maintains shape and stretch, assuring a good fit, gentle compression, and all-day comfort. A slotted attachment point allows the headband to be both durable and fully adjustable for maximum comfort.

- Many other shields use ½” or ¼” elastic, or woven instead of knitted elastic which gets narrower when stretched and can cut into the back or sides of the head.
